Daniel Adam seventh in Illinois State Championship at Peoria Speedway

Daniel Adam was one of 26 DIRTcar Late Model entries at Peoria (Ill.) Speedway on Saturday afternoon for the $5,000-to-win Illinois State Championship.

Clocking in third-quickest in his group, Adam earned a third-row starting spot in the feature after finishing runner-up in his heat race. Daniel ran seventh in the 40-lap, $5,000-to-win main event.

Daniel and his team then made their way to Coles County Speedway (Mattoon, Ill.) for the invite-only Road to the Dome event. Daniel finished third in his heat race and started ninth in the $10,000-to-win show, but recorded a DNF.
