Adam competes in Hawkeye 100 at Maquoketa with World of Outlaws

Joining the World of Outlaws Real American Beer Late Models for one night only after Friday's opener was rained out, Daniel Adam checked into a 32-car field at Maquekota (Iowa) Speedway on Saturday for the $20,000-to-win Hawkeye 100.

Adam qualified 11th-fastest in his group and finished seventh in a heat race which put him in a last chance showdown. Daniel finished fifth, just a couple positions away from transferring.
