Daniel Adam opens up Lucas Oil season at Golden Isles

Kicking off his Rookie of the Year chase, Daniel Adam unloaded his RLM Enterprises No. 75 Rocket XR1 at Golden Isles Speedway (Brunswick, Ga.) on Thursday afternoon for the Super Bowl of Racing.

With 51 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series entrants, Adam qualified 21st in his stacked group and was unable to make the main event through his B-Main. Taking a provisional starting spot for the series opener, Daniel recorded a 26th-place finish.

Losing Friday's event to heavy rain showers, Daniel returned to the seat on Saturday evening for the $25,000-to-win finale. Starting towards the rear of the 60-lap main event, Adam finished 24th in the running order.
